Senator David Burke speaks at the Ohio Hospital Association Annual Meeting in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday, June 12, 2012. Senator Burke spoke to about 50 hospital administrators and risk management professionals about Ohio House Bill 93 ('Pill Mill' Bill) and the impact of prescription drug reform on hospitals.

Senator Burke (R) represents the families and communities of Ohio's 26th Senate District, which includes all of Union, Crawford, Logan, Marion, Sandusky and Wyandot counties as well as parts of Seneca and Ottawa counties.

Burke graduated from Ohio Northern University with a bachelor's degree in pharmacy and later obtained an MBA from Capital University. Since 1997, he and his wife have owned and operated Dave's Pharmacy in Marysville, Ohio.
