A rollerblader’s quest to skate across the country for charity

After some careful deliberation, six months of planning and staring at Google maps, and a fear that he would regret it if he didn’t at least try, Mike Lempko decided to embark on a journey across the country on rollerblades. On his 3,800-mile trip from San Fransisco to Brooklyn, he is also raising money for No Kid Hungry, a national initiative that focuses on providing school breakfasts and lunches to under-privileged kids.
