Bach 43B (AKA Bach Mariachi) Stradivarius Trumpet with Bronze Bell! ACB Show & Tell

[Links in description] Here's a fantastic new arrival to the shop, a very lightly used Bach 43B in silver plate! The 43B was designed with input from some of the great LA mariachi trumpeters, to put a unique commercial spin on the Bach 43B reversed leadpipe design. This is an incredibly well made trumpet. Even the case looks incredible. This is your opportunity to get into a wonderful Bach trumpet without the price tag of a new horn.

The reversed leadpipe does help the centering and responsiveness of the horn (it also changes the brace positioning, everything affects everything). Personally I prefer the bracing a little farther down the bell on my trumpets, but it really comes down to personal preference. This horn has an aftermarket heavy trim kit on it, but it comes with the original trim as well.

The 43B denotes the 43 bell flare (a favorite with commercial players) and a bronze bell alloy. It's very crisp while also being full and rich. It's a beautiful, complex sound. A lot of people see "mariachi" and think the 43B will have a very specific sound profile, but it's really a versatile horn!

I'm still dialing in the levels on my new mic setup (I just got a new interface), although as always there's no reverb or sweetening. Just the raw audio, and first takes only!
