Multi Stage Transistor Amplifiers
A transistor circuit containing more than one stage of amplification is called multistage transistor amplifier.
An amplifier in the basic building block of most electronic systems. Just as one brick cannot make a house, a single stage amplifier is not sufficient to build a practical electronic system. Hence two or more single stages of amplification are frequently used to achieve the desired amplification. The first few stages in the multistage amplifier have the function of only voltage amplification. However, the last stage is designed to provide maximum power hence is called power stage.
