EP 38: Exploring the Korok Forest and the Hero Sword | The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

Welcome back to my playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! 🎮✨

In this episode, as promised, we venture into the mysterious Korok Forest. But before diving into the adventure, I share my thoughts on the last silent episode. It was nice to have the sounds of Hyrule as our only companion, but I definitely missed chatting with you all. Maybe a quiet, therapeutic episode could be its own special series—what do you think?

The Korok Forest turns out to be quite the maze, filled with secrets and challenges. We also encounter the legendary sword that seals the darkness—the Hero Sword. However, it seems we need a few more hearts to pull it from the ground. So, we tackle some shrine quests in the Korok Forest to get closer to the required strength. After earning two more hearts, I plan to return and try my luck with the Hero Sword again when I have 14 hearts.

Our shrine quests today were more challenging than expected, requiring a lot of thinking. Although I intended to speedrun through them, I realized it's better to take our time and enjoy the puzzles rather than rush through and risk frustration.

We hit the time limit while tackling one of these shrines, so we’ll pick up right where we left off in the next episode. Until then, happy adventuring!
