Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to another edition of the Android News Byte.
Today, I wanted to highlight some recent leaks that have revealed hardware details of the upcoming Galaxy S25 series from Samsung.

Galaxy S25 Qi2 Wireless Charging
The first thing of note that was leaked recently is the use of Qi2 wireless charging.

Adoption rate of this new technology has been slow and full use of it is currently only in the HMD Skyline device.
The addition of the magnetic ring helps to line up the wireless charging coil with the charger itself.

Wireless charging speeds are set at 15W, so you won't get super fast charging with it, but it's faster than 5W, which is what many of us are used to when it comes to wireless chargers.


Galaxy S25 Ultra RAM options
We've also learned that the GAlaxy S25 Ultra will be available in 12GB and 16GB options.
With the cheaper version coming with 12GB and the two upper tiers including 16GB of RAM.

There isn't word of the smaller Galaxy S25, or the plus sized variant, but it's safe to assume those will come with similar options.


Galaxy S25 Storage options
The Galaxy S25 is rumored to have 128GB and 256GB storage tiers

While the S25+ and S25 ultra will have 256GB as the base storage option
going all the way up to 1TB of storage for the most expensive GAlaxy s25 ultra variant.


conclusion
Samsung is scheduled to reveal the upcoming Galaxy S25 series on the 22nd of January, which is a little over one month away.
It's assumed that we're going to be hearing a lot more about these phones as the weeks progress, so definitely keep an eye out for future videos that talk about these leaks.
