An introduction to Imam Al-Ghazali | Ayyuhal Walad with Shaykh Abu Aaliyah

A student of Imam Al Ghazali once asked of his teacher a truly powerful question; what will benefit him in the grave?

And so in response Al Ghazali wrote him a letter containing invaluable advice that every student of knowledge and slave of Allah should take hold of.

In the first session of Ayyuhal Walad we covered the background and lofty status of Imam Al-Ghazali, as well as his unique and respected title as 'Hujjatul Islam' (The proof of Islam).

This was followed by a brief introduction into the text and why it is so important. The Islamic tradition is rooted in virtue, and is away of being, behaving, and becoming. Therefore this text should be read and studied intently, so as to learn and implement it's virtues and transform oneself.
