Originally written in 1948 by Canadian nurse Elizabeth Clarke - for a young boy who noticed a sparrow hopping on the windowsill by his hospital bed - "Bluebird On Your Windowsill" is the first Canadian song to sell more than a million copies and to be recorded by many famous artists.
