Rabeliechtli - A Swiss Tradition | Making of Rabeliechtli (Turnip Lantern)

Rabeliechtli is a german word .. Rabe means Turnip & liechtli means small lantern & together Rabeliechtli means small turnip lanterns. Rabeliechtli represent warmth of home during cold winter months. Rabeliechtli is a swiss tradition celebrated every autumn. It is done to celebrate the end of harvest & beginning of winter. This we celebrated even in Netherlands.
