1977 Kawasaki KZ650 Vintage Race Bike - A Change of Direction

Hi everybody!
So, I decided to buy another bike! This time, it's a 1977 Kawasaki KZ650-B1 race bike! The previous owner is an accomplished racer, as well as a factory trained mechanic. What that translates to is that all of the work done to the bike is done really well. Lucky for me, right?!

All I really need to do to it is replace the rear tire, change the oil and filter, and then ride the hell out of it to get used to it. Once that's done, I can start racing it in the vintage class with my local motorcycle racing club, SMRI (Sandia Motorcycle Roadracing, Inc.)

Another organization that is known for their vintage motorycle racing (dirt, and street) is AHRMA (American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association).
