Essential things to know about the SteelSeries Alias Pro and SteelSeries GG

The SteelSeries Alias Pro is a fantastic microphone that not only sounds good but also has some interesting capabilities, thanks to GG, which allow you to not only customise the sound of your microphone but also of your friend's mics, your game audio and more. You can have different volume levels for your stream and for yourself and do so much more than many other mics out there. It's pretty epic.

Other things to know about the SteelSeries Alias Pro:
Mic sidetone can be adjusted in GG via engine settings (not sonar)
RGB lighting ring on mic gain can be turned OFF in Engine too (very distracting)
You need to turn on Streamer mode in Sonar to access the full settings
You can add shortcuts to mute to audience
Button customisation for volume wheel and mute button
You have to manually ADD each channel to stream mix!
You can “listen” to the audience mix levels in Sonar before going live
As standard it picks up a lot of background noise
NO gain settings in software? (minimum gain still picks up sound without AI noise cancellation)
Separate game audio track
Change game audio with presets - for AUDIENCE and you!
EQ settings for friends microphones via discord
