We will install Python, a wrapper for virtual environments, make a virtual environment called cwatm, and install GDAL, NumPy, SciPy, netCDF4, and pandas.

Download the appropriate version for your Python version (in this example, showing for all Python 3.11 versions, including 3.11.1, 3.11.2, etc.) and chip infrastructure (amd64, probably): GDAL-3.7.1-cp311-cp311-win_amd64.whl

For Apple/MacOS 🍎:    • macOS: Python, GDAL, GitHub Desktop, ...
