The DYING Barrier Reef

Описание к видео The DYING Barrier Reef

Climate Change is destroying the Great Barrier Reef. In the last 2 years the Great Barrier Reef has lost over half its coral. At the current rate at which sea temperatures are rising the Reef will go extinct in the next 20 to 30 years. I have witnessed this happening first hand over the last two years, dive sites I previously loved now stand bleached and destroyed.

If we don't act now, Global Warming will consume the Great Barrier Reef and destroy one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. It is not too late to act, Greenpeace are actively fighting groups who continue to place this natural wonder at risk. The continued opening of coal mines such as the Adani mine are only exacerbating this issue and sealing the fate of the Great Barrier Reef. To assist their cause visit https://www.greenpeace.org.au/what-we... for more information, and consider lending your support. Either donations, or signing their petition are both very appreciated. Even small things like educating yourself about the reefs state or educating others around you may be the difference between life and death for the Reef.

The Reef is DYING NOT DEAD. Act now. The Reef is at it's breaking point and soon it will be too late.
