JOE LONGTHORNE 'IN MY OWN WORDS' 2014

Joe’s docu-film ‘In My Own Words’ was released on DVD in 2014. The 124 minute production is somewhat ' Up Close and Personal ‘ & ' Behind The Scenes’ . Filmed in and around Blackpool , including rare footage of Joe at home and on his beloved North Pier. Made and produced by Joe's Film and Media Consultant and close friend Mr Paul Smith of Reactive Media.
After receiving devastating news that he had to face up to yet another fight with cancer in Spring 2014, Joe decided to allow cameras complete and unrestricted access to his professional and private life and the result is arguably one of the best productions ever on the life and career of Mr Joe Longthorne MBE.
The 2+ hour film sees cameras follow Joe to the Spring 2014 concerts, with extensive concert footage , his 59th Birthday Party and the final show before entering hospital for major surgery on July 2nd 2014. The film also features a wealth of messages of love and total support from Joe’s show business friends and colleagues.
