Here we built a 8'x16' fiber optic star ceiling in our home game room. complete with Govee Matter M1 surround lights. Our main frame was made from 1"x2" and 1"x4" wood strips screwed into the ceiling joist. Then we used 4'x8' foam board wrapped with metal trim and a street suede headliner material. There are a total of 1550 stars placed in the ceiling using .75mm, 1mm and 1.5mm fiber optic cable. Each panel is held in place with magnets for easy removal if needed.
