Two years ago, Evelyn and her daughter, Julia, were rear-ended in a car accident. Julia wasn’t injured, but Evelyn experienced a spinal cord injury and paralysis from the chest down.

Now, following intensive rehabilitation at Shirley Ryan AbilityLab, Evelyn marked the anniversary of the car accident by walking Julia to school on her first day of kindergarten.
