In der banalen Fotografie geht es nicht um das Ergebnis. Hier ist der Prozess des Fotografierens entscheidend. Oder eher die Fähigkeit, seine Umgebung wahrzunehmen und in einfachen Sachen das Schöne zu finden. Ob der Betrachter das auch interessant findet, liegt nicht in der Macht, aber auch nicht in der Absicht des Fotografen. Banale Fotografie ist viel mehr eine Schulung für die eigenen Augen und Sinne.
