I discuss about the upcoming Kharagpur - Burdwan - Morgram Economic Corridor. Recently, NHAI has invited bids for constuction of this 231 km long greenfield expressway in West Bengal at an estimated cost of Rs. 5985 Crores. This expressway will connect old NH-6 (Bombay Road at Kharagpur), old NH-2 (Durgapur Expressway at Burdwan) and NH-12 (old NH-34 at Morgram). With design speed of 120 kmph, this will be the fastest expressway in West Bengal.
