Fuzzy (in a defensive context) is a general category of option selects that uses timing to BLOCK first and if there is nothing to BLOCK, perform a different defensive option.
For instance - Fuzzy mash: the defender blocks and hits a late jab, so if the attacker does an immediate button it is blocked and no jab will come out, if the attacker doesn't put the defender in block stun, the jab will come out instead.
Fuzzies are based on the timing that you expect your opponent to attack with, so the specific timing that you should use varies based on your opponent and their character.
