Описание к видео hear/say Reader's Theater 2020

The hear/say oral history project began as a collaboration between the Memory and Aging Center at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) and Voice of Witness in 2016 to shed light on the personal, day-to-day experiences of aging and dementia. The 2020 hear/say Reader’s Theater event shared eight stories from around the world. The stories were collected by members of the Global Brain Health Institute community.

Dominique was interviewed by Yaohua Chen, and her story is read in French by Yaohua Chen and in English by Sarah D’Alessio.

Marie was interviewed by Mindy Matice, who also reads her story.

Carmen was interviewed by Maritza Pintado Caipa. The story will be read in Spanish by Maritza and in English by Lucia Lopez.

Two stories were told and written together with homeless people in Vilnius, Lithuania. Read by Ieva Petkutė.

Lastenia was interviewed by Marcela Mar Meza, and her story was read by Marcela (Spanish) and Stefanie Piña Escudero (English).

Ann was interviewed by Sarah D’Alessio, who also reads her story.

Isabel was interviewed by Sheila Castro-Suarez who reads the story in Spanish. Didem Öz reads in English.

Richard was interviewed by Niall Kavanagh, who also reads his story.

Camellia Latta played the flute in between stories.
