vPub Live - All the FREE WHISKY!

If you've been around the vPub long enough you'll have heard me talk about how I choose to buy all my own whisky, that I never request any free bottles - or even samples - and that's how I prefer to run things. And it's true. It's fundamental, even.

Yet that's not the whole story. To say I don't have whisky on hand that I haven't paid for myself would be disingenuous. It wouldn't be true. So what to do about it? What is it? Why do I have it and what does it mean to you? Can I be trusted to give advice and opinion about whisky I have received for free?

While we're at it - how do I even manage to buy my own whisky? Where does the money come from and how does it all work?

This'll be the discussion for this week's vPub. Don't do the transparency walk without the transparency talk. It's about time I 'fessed up, and while we're at it, I'll drink some free whiskies!
