It is the English-language version re-recording by Enya of her 1988 song from Watermark .😊

This music video was directed by Michael Geoghegan in 1989. It certainly looks like many animals and people in addition to Enya appeared in the video, notably the two girls whom Enya stands closely with. The picture shown briefly at the end is from Enya's 1989 single cover of Oíche Chiúin (Silent Night). 🥰

Storms In Africa (II) released slightly later than expected, in June 1989, supposedly 4 months after its deadline! 😄
(If only I got that sort of extension for my assignments, haha, though at least I don't have a promotional schedule! 😅)

The song just missed the top 40 in the United Kingdom (UK #41) and #12 in Ireland. Nevertheless, it has a brilliant rhythm, and is one of the most uplifting Enya songs. 🎶🌅

Enya sings and plays most instrumentals (the drums are played by musician Chris Hughes), Roma Ryan wrote the lyrics and Nicky Ryan came up with the title and produced the song. 💡

Similarly to the first song, I suppose this song not only takes inspiration from the power of storms in the desert areas of the African continent, but also represents conjuring up the strength within oneself to move ahead, through the storms of life. 😌
