Greetings, in this Google Drive tutorial we shall be looking at how to download a view only image from Google Drive. Now, you can take a screenshot of this view only image on Google Drive. That is a valid solution but it isn't always the best solutions to the problem of how to copy a view only image from Google Drive. So in this tutorial we will look at and solve the problem of how to copy or download a view only image from Google Drive.

The first step is to locate the view only Image that as copy protections on Google Drive. Notice how the image has security limitations. You can't make a copy, you can't download, you can't print and you can't email it. Next you need to open the image on Google Drive. Then click on the more actions button and then click on open in new window. This step is optional but will make the following steps easier.

Now you need to open up the Google Chrome console. On most keyboards this can be done by pressing the F12 key on your keyboard. Then in the console you want to add the code I have included in the description of this, at the top. This Javascript code will just find all images on the webpage and print out links to those images.

When you run this Javascript code, you will see a few links. Open each one in a new tab one by one until you find the view only image you want to download. If you right click on the image, you will be able to copy it and paste it elsewhere or download it as any image type you like by changing the file extension of the filename. So you can download the view only image as a png file or a jpeg file or a webp or a bitmap or whatever you want. You can save it as any image type.
