This time we start at the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum in Walnut Grove, Minnesota and drive out to the Ingalls Dugout memorial marker. This memorial was put up in 1962 on the edge of the road. You can't see either Plum Creek or the site from the hill with the Ingalls dugout from the stone, but you can see the approximate location from the road.
