After 4-years of rigorous hardwork in their bicycle store, in 1903, Wright Brothers finally developed the first working model of the human flight. First successful flying experience lasted for just 12s. And after 120 years, today, close to 500,000 people are flying at a given moment. The accurate engineering design of the flight wing as an Aerofoil did the wonders in generating a lift force. Bernoulli's Principle of Fluid Dynamics was applicable here.

In the Streamline or Laminar Flow, gas or liquid particles flow in parallel layers without disruption or inter-mixing with a fairly low speed. In the steady flow the velocity of the particles crossing a particular point don't change with time.

In the Laminar flow the drag force Viscosity is ignored and Mass-flow remains constant and that is why this flow is called Incompressible flow. The behavior of laminar flow can be described with the help of Bernoulli's equation which is essentially derived from the law of conservation of energy. For a fluid flow at a horizontal level, when its velocity is increased its pressure decreases and vice-vesra. The cross-section of aircraft wings is called Airfoil/airofoil.

When the Aeroplanes start accelerating in the air-strips, a boundary-layer is developed across the wings. Air-velocity is very high above the stagnation point and low at the bottom of the wing. Therefore low pressure-zone on top and high pressure zone at the bottom is developed. This pressure difference results in a net upward lift force of the aircraft. Aircrafts are tested and simulated in the wind-tunnels.
