It's about a 6 hour drive from Queenstown to Christchurch. This scenic drive from Queenstown to Christchurch is a 493.5 kilometer-long trip (306.6 miles) that without stopping takes around 6 hours. With that said, this journey should take you much longer if you truly want to explore the area.
