👉Method 1: Recover from Google Trash

The first place you should check is the Google Drive Trash Folder. Go to Trash under My Drive, Right-click on the file that was deleted. This will open a context menu with two options “Restore and Delete forever.” To recover the file, choose the Restore option. This will return the file to its original location. The file will stay in your trash for 30 days before being automatically deleted.

Google Drive for desktop app will automatically sync files from the specific folders you configured when setting up the program, like Desktop, Documents, and Picture on your PC.
