This is my bass cover of "The Ballad of John and Yoko" by the Beatles. Paul McCartney played the original bass line, which was removed here using Moises.ai. The song is played in standard tuning.

NOTE: I had to remix the song and take out the vocals to avoid copyright issues.

Who doesn't love the Beatles? And as a bass player, I'm a huge fan of Paul McCartney. Obviously, this isn't his most complex or interesting bass line--far from it. But its simplicity is what really sells it and it works perfectly with the song. Getting it exactly right is tougher than it sounds. I went through more takes than usual to get this one just right. This is the first of a few Beatles covers that I have planned. Stay tuned!
