I created a southern rock-ish backing track for this. I did one pass on the bridge pickup of each guitar, double tracked, on a light gain setting, then another pass with a higher gain setting. All recorded direct from the Joyo Preamp House.

No eq-ing post recording, no reverb, nothing. Volume and tone on all guitars was set to 10. Wide open.

The last part is a bar of each guitar on the higher gain setting.

I don't believe that there was any change in the manufacturing process employed by Gibson during the period that these pickups were made, so they should all be consistent. But this gives you an opportunity to hear them in different guitars with different construction, as well as with the covers on/off.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

Thanks as ever for watching.
