This post has been long due ever since I covered a drugstore vitamin c serum in Aug last year. Such content always comes with greater responsibility because as a creator you’re giving greater agency to your audiences to make choices 😌I started using targeted drugstore products in 2020 after being prescribed them by the derms I was seeing then. Some needed a prescription while some didn’t and largely came without any disclaimers (except isotretinoin that I started in 2022) . I’ve deliberately kept away products like aziderm from this video because as far as I know it’s a prescription cream.

Lumivoid: Star product! ✨💛Available on 1mg and netmeds and even at your local pharmacy. Contains turmeric and licorice extracts along with niacinamide, lactic acid and also retinyl palmitate. This has been my most loved anti pigmentation cream and showed effects in a month’s time.

Kojivit: Also available on 1mg a. Much slow to perform. Contains Kojic Acid and Mulberry extracts. Creamy and moisturising.

Demelan: I bought this on Amazon just to test this out on my acne marks and it performed well. But it increases your sensitivity to the sun so imo this is quite strong. Not preganancy or lactation safe.

Vicco: I’ve reviewed this in detail before and love it! It helps with oil control and even minimises acne (not much, but fairly well).💛

Reverzo: Have reviewed this one as well before! One of the best vitamin C serums i used in 2022. Gives a beautiful glow with consistent usage and fades acne marks.
