My car has always had Spires back boxes. I wanted it louder so found a second hand custom centre section with no silencers and an X pipe. Sounded lovely at idle and stationary revving. But driving was actually quieter! Under hard acceleration, the exhaust went very quiet but was very raspy. I also noticed a big lack of mid range power.

I have now swapped back to a standard centre section. Overall, I prefer this setup and the car is MUCH faster.
