In this tutorial video I will quickly guide you on how you can delete or remove contacts from your Yahoo mail account. One of the great things about email platforms like Yahoo Mail is that you don’t have to keep track of all of your Yahoo Mail Contacts information by memory or in an agenda you can store all the information you need right in your email!

The Contacts feature in the free online mail service from Yahoo enables you to store the details of all your customers, colleagues or anyone else you communicate with. The ability to import contacts from other services such as Facebook, Gmail and Windows Live Hotmail also helps you to quickly build up your list without entering the data yourself.

1. Sign in to your Yahoo Mail account and click the Contacts tab.
2. Click the Actions button and select a sorting order for your list of contacts. You can sort contacts by first name, last name or email address.
3. Click the check box next to the contacts that you want to remove.
4. Click the Delete button and then click Delete when prompted. The selected contacts are moved to the Deleted Contacts list which is emptied within a month.
5. Click Deleted Contacts below the Shortcuts" section and then click the check box next to each of the deleted contacts.
6. Click Delete Permanently to immediately remove all the deleted contacts without waiting for them to be removed automatically by the service.
