Blender is an excellent 3D program but the learning curve is steeper than others. There are many obstacles that torture the beginners. This only covers the Object Mode and Edit Mode, which is a tiny bit of Blender, but very basic things to go up further. While preparing the video, I picked up a couple new things. Some people might say, “Well, there is no animation, no rigging, no geometry nodes, so no fun.” but building a solid foundation will serve as a great stepping stone for mastering more advanced techniques in the future.^^
00 1. Knife(think what you did before)
32 2. Subdivide(works with 3 or 4 sides)
01 3. Bevel(check Scale, Interior Faces, Overlapped vertices, Face Orientation)
22 4. Bridge Edge Loops & Grid Fill(match vertices)
06 5. Loop Cut(cuts quads)
13 6. Location, Rotation, Scale(update/apply like a habbit)
51 7. Face Orientation(is a monster. Hard. Enemy of bevel)
48 8. Shortest Path(check something is in between)
00 9. Inset(check "Individual" option)
38 10. Custom Orientation(You can select any direction you want)
48 11. J or F, Delete or Dissolve(depends on weld or not)
42 11(well, had to be 12). Mesh and Curve(Bezier/Nurbs) Two are different
49 12. Edge bevel weight, Edge Crease, Mark seam, Mark sharp, Mark Freestyle edge(takes time to learn)
