Rij played 4 year 2016-2020 for Harvard Men's Golf Team. Unfortunately, his 2020 (last season) were cut shorted and finally cancelled due to COVID19. Rij graduated A.B. Economics Honors in May 2020 cum laude (GPA: 3.68/4.00) with focus in Multivariable Calculus, Intermediate Micro/Macro Economic Theory, Inference of Statistical Methods, Healthcare & Pharmaceutical Economics, Econometrics. Currently, works at CENSEO CONSULTING GROUP as business analyst.

As for golf, he played 4 years on the team: 4th lowest career scoring average in Harvard Golf History: 73.7, 2018-2019 Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar, and 2018 Individual All-Ivy Honors
