With a full-length BOOM drop-in midsole, cushion remains to be excellent in terms of bounciness, softness, and support from the foam. Although not a fan of removable midsole setups in general, I do applaud the increased level of comfort and material upgrade on the outer shell of this model. There is no longer any pinching or discomfort caused by the plasticky material folding like the previous version. Traction is solid against different court conditions. On dusty courts and even humid courts with wet spots, I was able to come to a hard stop just fine. I would recommend going half size up to be safe, or you can also go true to size for a snug fit. Besides the material being softer this time, the midfoot strap is nice and functional while weight has been reduced overall.
