Описание к видео 1997 Manx International Rally

5 drivers arrived to the Isle of Man with a chance of taking the 1997 British Rally Championship. Alister McRae headed the points followed by Gwyndaf Evans and Robbie Head close behind while Manxmen Mark Higgins and Martin Rowe would need a large slice of luck in order to take the crown. McRae and Evans both crashed out in spectacular fashion while Head’s engine expired allowing Higgins and Rowe a clear run to the finish. With the title in sight Higgins throttled back to secure the championship while Rowe went on to take his first International rally win.
