1986 1987 Honda Civic CRX Si Door Panel Removal

Описание к видео 1986 1987 Honda Civic CRX Si Door Panel Removal

I'll show you to remove the door panel on an all original 1986 Civic Si. Join me as I troubleshoot this car and get it dialed in, and be sure to check out some of my other builds.

This is the first year of the Civic Si ever sold in the United States, and is extremely undervalued into today's market. This was Honda's response to VW GTI, and excluding the CRX, was their first "hot hatch". The 1g CRX and 3g Civic are basically the same car, with the CRX only holding two adults, and the Civic Si equipped with a larger body that accommodates a __FUTURE FEATURE REVEALED LATER___ rear seat, and a more useful cargo area.

This car spent it's entire life in the pacific northwest, owned by a woman who bought it new and owned it until around 2018, when it was sold at auction to a college guy who lived in the midwest. The 2nd owner had it briefly, for about 3 months when he took a job, relocated, and could not bring the car with him. Since he owned it so briefly and didn't do anything to it, I consider it sort of a "1 owner" car, that I will be getting dialed in over the next few episodes. The 3rd Gen Civic is an important piece of history, and really deserves to get a lot more credit considering this model is still in production, UNLIKE the Integra, RSX, S2000, Prelude, Legend, etc, all of which have been unprofitable to Honda, while the Civic SI has always remained available, steady, forever, eternal.
