How to Register an ATV with NO PRIOR PAPERWORK!!

I've been asked recently about the license plate on my 85 350X that I ride all the time. Specifically, how did I get it since it's on a 3 wheeler and 3 wheelers are "banned"... So, the question is kind of based in some misinformation. I live in NY and there is a lot of nonsense that goes on here, but 3 wheelers aren't illegal to own, it isn't against the law to register one, and you can even insure them.

Another common misconception is that if there's no registration with the machine when you buy it, you won't be able to get another. This is also not true. As you'll see, as long as the machine isn't stolen, it's a very easy process to get the machine registered in your name. If you're selling a machine and a buyer is giving you a hard time because you don't have the registration for it, share this video with him!
