These tennis drills are targeted for advanced and strong intermediate players.

Drill 1. Hit the forehand on the rise
- Generate more pace
- Take time away from your opponent

Drill 2. Topspin backhand / Backhand drive volley
- Develop topspin
- Improve your drive volley

Drill 3. X drill on the forehand side
- Foot work
- Learn to run around your forehand

Drill 4. The runaround forehand
- Look to use your strength as often as possible

Drill 5. Bench drill
- For a steeper swing and more topspin
- Better net clearance

Drill 6. Short and deep
- Transition from defence to attack

Drill 7. Forehands - work your way in
- Vary your swing depending on your court position

Drill 8. Forehands - around and in
- Weight transfer

Drill 9. Forehands - Wide ball high and deep down the middle or all out down the line
- High and deep down the middle to cut off angles and allow for recovery time
- Rip it down the line for pure satisfaction!

Drill 10. Tennis touch
- Develop your feel type shots

Drill 11. React on the backhand. Short and deep
- React and be explosive

Drill 12. Wide forehand
- Foot work
- Open stance forehand
- Neutral stance forehand

Drill 13. Forehands across the baseline
- Work on recovery

Drill 14. Serve and hit into space
- Create space with the serve

Drill 15. Short take back
- Good for return of serve and playing against big hitters

Drill 16. Backhands followed by a backhand drop shot
- Mix it up with a drop shot. Keep your opponent guessing

Drill 17. Backhands across the baseline
- Work on recovery

Drill 18. Wide slice
- Heavy slice
- Work on recovery

Drill 19. Forehands - around and in (again)
- Weight transfer

Drill 20. Load with the legs
- Hit heavier groundstrokes

Drill 21. Short forehand
- Put more forehands away
