Susana Hoffs treated Entertainment Industry Executives to a very special live performance at Michele Clark's Sunset Sessions event on the rooftop of The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

Sunset Sessions events are exclusive Music Industry festivals, conventions & experiences designed to give artists a true chance to be heard by the various music industry executives who can help artist’s music reach the masses.

The Sunset Sessions events began in 1998 in St Thomas and were created by Michele Clark + VP Madeleine Chattah Davis. Michele Clark Promotion (now M:M Music) was the #1 Independent Radio Promotion company in the Adult Rock (Triple A) format of radio since it’s inception and Sunset Sessions was the event responsible for bringing together Radio owners + programmers, major + independent record labels, music supervisors, managers, booking agents, + press to turn them onto new music from new + legendary artists from all over the world. Due to it’s unique design, attendees came with open ears and open hearts… and formed genuine connections with each other that launched and enhanced thousands of careers.

Most SS showcases were not memorialized in any way (except in the successes of the artists who played them & the audiences who loved them). Of the videos that were created, only a small fraction have ever been made available to the public.

Performances are intimate and unique... once in a lifetime-type experiences... interviews, listening parties, acoustic sets, poolside performances, etc.

This Sunset Sessions Vegas event was the 1st SS to include the general public in anyway. We offered a small number of tickets for the Main Stage performances on the Cosmo’s rooftop. All ticket proceeds were donated to various charities chosen by Sunset Sessions, the Cosmo & the artists themselves! Some of these non-profits included Opportunity Village, Three Square, Communities in Schools of Nevada, The Recording Academy’s own MusiCares, Wounded Warriors, Doctors without Borders, The Fisher House, Feeding the Soul Foundation, CEH + Stand Up to Cancer.

This event also included legendary artists CARLOS SANTANA as well as STEVIE NICKS who joined us with DAVE STEWART.

Some of the events special industry partners included PR firm The Muse Box, RAMP and Marianne Goode’s company All Media Music Group who was our primary partners for the Music Supervision aspects of the Sunset Sessions events.

Fun Facts:
This was the only year Sunset Sessions hosted 3 full conventions in 1 year! The Triple A SS was always in February since 1998. Sunset Sessions Rock was in June of each year, and this multi format Vegas event was in November so SS could contribute it’s influencer support to then new Cosmo hotel!

In advance of SS Vegas, we hosted our first songwriters Retreat in Las Vegas Mansion.

SS Vegas kicked off the 1st Sunset Sessions National Tour, which took 4 of our artists to 16 cities! Each show supported by its local radio station and benefitted a local charity.
