Explains how Matthew 24:30-31 refers to the gathering of Israel after being scattered as a result of the Abomination of Desolation of 24:15. This view is shown from: (1) the context of Matthew 24; (2) the storyline of the Bible involving Israel being gathered after a time of scattering; and (3) intertextual connections from Old Testament prophetic sections such as Zechariah 12; Daniel 7; Isaiah 27; and Nehemiah 1.
