http://www.PinOaksFarm.com In this video I wanted to share some of the water tricks we are using to get and haul water for our off grid living.

There are numerous ways to get water and this is just one of them we use. As I mention in this video we also occasionally use another resource that is not potable water (it comes from living springs) and we add bleach to that water to make it clear and safe to use and drink if we wanted to drink it...

However, we DO NOT choose to drink that water, but instead we use it for showering, washing dishes and other daily needs.

This water tank in the video I found on Craigslist and was a food grade tank. In other words, it had pickle juice in it and was safe to use once we washed it out good. Just make sure you don't get the ones that have had any kinds of chemicals in them.

You can see how I have this tank strapped down from different directions using the large 10,000# ratchet straps. This makes it safe for hauling and ensures that it will not shift or move around while going down the road.

Always think safety and use more straps that you think you will need to hold whatever it is you are hauling. The last thing that you want happening is your load to fall out on the road and cause an accident, or worse.
