The forecast looked promising for the day. I flew 704 the day before and left her out in her pajamas (rather than derigging) so that I would have a quicker start. I was still well back on the grid as the early risers were up even earlier than they are normally. I had no plan in mind but I headed north from Lasham and bimbled up to Culham. I had a good look a Truckfest on the way over. I then turned Culham and headed down to Chilbolton before setting off back to Lasham. Not a big distance but enjoyable and the cumulus really marked out the thermals.
