At what age do you stop being part of a youth subculture. Do you one day just wake up, decide against the Harrington jacket, put the Doc Martens in the bin, and change your music taste entirely?

Festivals and events go on year after year, drawing people from all over the country, who were part of various youth cultures and subcultures. In this video mini-doc you'll see the crowds and performers from Northern Soul events, and Ska festivals, followed by an interview with Chris Burton.

Chris was a pioneer of the Northern Soul subculture, having owned one of the original nightclubs to host Northern Soul all-nighters, The Golden Torch.
