ArcheAge is an MMORPG that was popular in the West from around 2014-2016, primarily through the first several months in Alpha, beloved by most as the best period, and then the first couple of months since the official launch, which was riddled with countless issues that alienated those players. This is a game I spent a lot of time with, competitively and casually, I've been revisiting the game through the AA Classic private server and rediscovering my love for it, and wanted to explore the game again, exploring all the mechanics I fell in love with, bring back memories for old players, introduce new players to this gem, and briefly dive into why it 'failed' to so many.
