Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta Highlights Video

The Giorgio Armani Superyacht Regatta opened the superyacht racing season in the Mediterranean last week. Sailors delighted in returning to La Maddalena archipelago, Sardinia.

Organised by Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, the regatta is an invitational event for monohulls of 90ft and above and multihulls of 50ft and over. For this 15th edition two magnificent schooners, Mariette of 1915 and Shenandoah of Sark gave a splendid spectacle when they competed in a friendly challenge as a preview to the main event.

After four days of challenging yacht racing and champagne sailing, Magic Carpet Cubed took overall victory winning the prestigious Silver Jubilee Trophy. Allegra won in the Multihull Division and Morgana claimed the Southern Wind Trophy.
