The RH Indonesian Currency Disk is a gorgeous large piece and it's simple design is perfect for a dupe project. In this video I start with foam board from the Dollar Tree, add a some drywall mud, paint and a whole lot of time and I end up with a large, inexpensive, high end dup.

Décor trends change all the time. How we use our spaces changes too. And I agree, there are items that should be splurged on to make sure you get quality and longevity. This is why it's such a great idea to save on décor pieces with dupes and DIYs. Save money in one area to spend it somewhere else.

This décor piece is part of my dining room project. I know in the future, I'm completely redecorating the dining room; new furniture, wall trim, new art, the works. But for now, I want it to at least look presentable. So instead of splurging, I'm saving, duping and DIYing!
