How to Keep Lemons & Oranges Fresh

If you buy fresh produce but sometimes it spoils before you get to eat it or you are leaving on a week long trip and want your fruit to last, try this trick! It's amazing. I just took an orange out of the water a week later and it is perfectly preserved, juicy and delicious! Another hot tip! Works with leafy veggies & green beans, too. THey won't last forever but it sure extends the life. If anything is slimy or smells bad toss it in the garbage. But if it feels and smells good, it's probably fine to eat. Use you good judgement but this has saved us money on fresh fruits and veggies. Let me know what you think!
