Konova Slider K5 150 test video

Konova Slider K5 Slider test video shot with Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH4, Olympus m.zuiko 45mm and Olympus m.zuiko 17mm lenses.

Slider is on its feet mostly on ice and snow. Some shots on heavy manfrotto tripod.

On Konova Slider we had Manfrotto 701HDV Video Head.

No stabilization is used in post. Shot with GH4 variable frame rate 96fps.

The main purpose of this video was to get touch with the slider and try to create some sort of story. After all material is as useful as it is in edit. We can't always use the steadiest shots when we have a person in frame. When model is doing something we want in edit there might be some shaking on slider rails. Our conclusion is that this slight shaking is not disruptive. The risk of ruining your shot is when you change direction and your model is doing something you want in edit. Timing is very important when shooting with a video slider. Konova Slider is very stable. It is easy to use. You might consider two tripods with 150cm lenght. That's something we didn't do on this case because we did't have enough hands. Please post a comment if you want to know more about our experience with Konova Slider.
