Dr. Carr, appointed Director of Performance Psychology and Team Behavioral Health Clinician for the Green Bay Packers on May 1, 2020, spearheads performance psychology and mental health services for players, staff, and the organization. Before this, he served as the Counseling Sport Psychologist and Coordinator of Sport & Performance Psychology Services at Ascension St Vincent Sports Performance in Indianapolis from 2006 to 2020. In this role, he managed training, supervision, research, and applied practice in sport and performance psychology, holding licenses in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Indiana.

Dr. Carr's extensive career includes positions as the Sport/Performance Psychologist at the Methodist Sports Medicine Center, Sport Psychologist for The Ohio State University Sports Medicine Center (1995-2000), and the USA Diving National Team Sport Psychologist during the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing. He spent six years as the Sport Psychologist for the Kansas City Royals Baseball Club and ten years with the United States Men’s Alpine Ski Team, including the 2002 Winter Olympic Games in Salt Lake City.

Dr. Carr earned his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology with a minor in Exercise Science/Sport Psychology from Ball State University. He spent a year as a Clinical Research Assistant in Sport Psychology at the United States Olympic Training Center prior to the 1992 Olympic Games. Dr. Carr currently resides in Suamico, WI, with his wife Kelli.
